Out of all the strategies you can think of ; the RULE #4 is the most risky and also could be a big game changing strategy.
I have won the Rank #1 quite few times using the substitute player as my captain. If at all the substitute player comes into to play before 90th minute and hits a goal , be sure that you will be at the 5 in the grand league.
Do have a look at the substitute players available apart from the starting 11. If you find any striker with a good record or who is in good recent form , do add him into your fantasy team and make him as the captain.
