Critical Path Method gives an idea about the Critical Activities, which if delayed will affect the Total Project Duration of the Project.

Basically keep in mind that, for Example - If there are 10 activities in a Project and 2 of them are Critical Activities, you are not supposed to delay the Critical Activities because it will increase the Total Project duration of the Project.
