DYNAMIC INPUT is one more drafting setting available in the status bar in the AutoCAD software. It is recommended to keep the DYNAMIC INPUT turned ON all the time. By keeping this drafting setting turned ON you can get rid of the neck pain you got by keep looking at the command line waiting for the next command. Well, just kidding. What do i mean is when you keep the DYNAMIC INPUT turned on , all the commands related to respective tools will appear near the cursor ( cross hair) itself. So you don't have to keep looking at the command line which is frustrating.
